With all of the germs floating around this flu season we areall trying to prevent spreading germs. A good way to prevent and avoid germs this season is to wash your hands and have your children wash their hands frequently with soap and water. Antibacterial hand sanitizers come in handy for those times when you can't actually wash your hands. Avoid letting you children share drinks. My 3-year-old is really bad about just picking up a glass and drinking it, so keep an eye on what they are putting in their mouth. Taking vitamins and getting your children to take vitamins is a good way to keep their immune system built up. There are also over-the-counter medicines like Air Born with help with immune systems. If you happen to get sick there are also medicines to help decrease the severity and shorten the duration of the cold or flu like Boiron, which is also available to kids.
